Overview
In this project, I isolated a figure from one of my oil paintings to create a mandala pattern in Photoshop. I layered the design over a photo of a flower called Queen Anne's Lace (Wild Carrot) taken by my collaborator, T. Christopher Brown.
Objective
The goal was to create a motion graphic which evokes a hypnotic, fractal experience and personifies the interconnected essence of our natural world. This project is the first of an ongoing series featuring my painted nudes and images of nature and flowers.
